Parent's Code Of Conduct

First of all welcome to another season with us. If you and your children are new to the club, welcome and thank you for choosing the Halifax Irish J.A.R.L.F.C. The aim for us all at the club is to be a fully inclusive and for you and your children to be safe & happy enjoying your chosen sport

HELP & ADVICE LIST FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS

* Always encourage your child to learn the rules

* Discourage unfair play and arguing with officials

* Help your child to recognize good performance, not just results

* Never force your child to take part in sport

* Set a good example by recognizing fair play and applauding the good performance of all

* Never punish or be-little a child for losing or making mistakes

* Publicly accept officials judgments

* Support your child’s involvement and help them enjoy their sport

* Use correct and appropriate language at all times

* Never enter onto the playing area unless invited to do so by a coach or official

* Inform the coach of any allergies or medical conditions that may be relevant if your child becomes ill or injured

* always make sure you have your coaches contact details with you when your child is left training and make sure you collect your child promptly at the agreed time

* Please inform your coach if your child is allowed to make their own way home from games and training

* Make sure any changes to your personal contact details are passed onto the coach

* If you have any problems or concerns regardless of how small, please

share them in a respectful manner with your coach or a club official

* Make sure your child is wearing clothing suitable to the weather conditions and remember, boots with metal blades are not permitted

* Always remember when your child is in the clubhouse to supervise your children at all times, their safety and actions are your responsibility
