Open Age November 2007 Newsletter

Hello every one, just a little update on what will be happening over Xmas regarding fixtures, training, events and Xmas get togethers.

Anyone who is interested in putting anything on the website, such as pictures, match reports, player profiles and news and events just email IRV AT airvine11@tiscali.co.uk and this can be arranged.  I think it is very important for the club to get our open age section of the website, up and running. It will help the club all round especially with publicity and organisation, such as meeting times for games, training venues and times, and the site is easily accessible for everybody connected to the club. 

We are looking for suggestions for another fundraising night for late December early January any suggestions would be appreciated (comedian night, auctions, quizzes anything which can make the club some well needed money and also have a top night)

Me Brock, Noel and Steely would like to congratulate all the lads and backroom staff for their great efforts in the season so far, what a start its great to see at the top of the league and the 2nds pushing for promotion.  With the way both teams are playing there is no reason why we cant have 2 title winning sides come May.  Keep our feet on the ground and keep training hard and the club will reap the rewards it deserves, well done so far boys top efforts, the club is buzzing at the moment.

*1STS MEET CLUB AT 12 AWAY TO BRIGHOUSE A FAX CUP 

*TUES 11^TH BARRACKS 7PM 

*THURS 13^TH HIPPERHOLM SCHOOL 7PM 

*SAT 15^TH TRAINING NO GAMES MOOR 1PM EVERYONE TO ATTEND NEED THE RUNOUT. THEN THE NIGHT OLD JOHN MAGS 80^TH BDAY LETS GIVE HIM A NIGHT TO REMEMBER WHAT A BLOKE, THERE WOULD BE NO CLUB WITHOUT THIS MAN.

Well done to the 1^st team sat what a great result IRISH 18 DRIG 4 TOP RESULT. WILL KEEP US PUSHING AT THE TOP OF THE LEAGUE.  Well done to all the boys who pushed up from the 2nds for a great effort especially Eddie on his debut.  Well done lads keep up the hard work see you soon.
